Best header for a 1g n/t?

What is the best header for a 1g 2.0 n/t car with 2.5'' exhaust?

I think everyone has there own opinion on which header is better some prefer cheap and some prefer name brand. I have a pacesetter I ground down all the inperfections in the inside of the header with a die-grinder and added a some weld on the front of the flange for reinforcement. Do some searching around as this topic is always popping up and decide for yourself.

anyways, i used to have the pacesetter. wasn't great but for the price it couldn't be beaten. is it greddy that makes the other one or is that for the 2g's?? i know archer racing used to sell one as well. not sure if they still do or not.

the GReddy is only for 2Gs. The pacesetter is decent i think, my buddy had a 91GS with a pacesetter header adn catback exhaust and like u said for the price the performance it gave couldnt be beaten. Archer still offers one, its under the Chakara sport compact racing line, great header but much more expensive than the pacesetter.

Slowboy racing offers a ported manifold job.


I would be interested in the archer headers though and what type of gains they might give.
