0-60 @ 10.50sec, 1/4 @ 16.69

I timed my self doing 0-60 and a 1/4 mile run by using a stop watch ,,,i dunno how close my results compared to the real track time but ne ways im still not happy about the result ...my 0-60 avg. around 10.5 sec or less if im lucky and my 1/4 mile run avg. around 16.69 to high 17's...the stop watch timing starts once my car moves and once my speedometer reaches 60mph i just stop the watch...i did the 1/4 mile time run by reseting my lower odometer reading to 0000 and stop it at 0004 which is equivalent to 1/4 mile i guess..but ne ways those r my results...im still not happy though cuz im expecting to get at least low 16's out of all the mods i added (Injen Intake system, pacetter headers, custom ram cold air using 4 inch duct, new nkg plugs, using 91 octane pump gas, 17" advanti racing wheels)...also forgot to remove my 2 10" subs...ne ways my car is automatic , what do u guys think of my approx run times?

Any of u guys in Automatic ever timed ur self or did run a 1/4 mile yet? if so post ur result

icorrect me if i am wrong but isn't 0004 equivalent to 4/10 of a mile. 1/4 of a mile would be 2.5/10. If you did that wrong it might take a little bit off of the time when you do it right.

so is that mean my stop watch should stop at 0002 odometer reading?...hmn..seems that my car is pretty quick then..i thought the lower odometer units are in KM..i just converted .25 miles to km which is equal to .402336 km.

well since your in manitoba....it should be in km so it will be .4 kms to a quarter mile.

My 0-60 times are about 8.7-8.8 seconds. And I havnt been to the track yet with my new clutch and new mods. But I ran a 16.6 with a slipping clutch, rigged intake and 100 degree weather. Now I know Im in low 16's high 15's b/c I beat a 15.7 CRX. We was dead even. But I had a bumper on him.

good kill on the crx black92esi...how loud was ur exhaust sound when ur inside the car since u dun have a muffler and a cat?...im planning to get a high flow cat, and a descent highflow muffler...i dun wanna lose sum back pressure..BTW those r pretty quick 0-60 times :thumbs:

Thx. My car is very loud inside. Its very deep and loud. It back fires alot but its really cool. I know Im loosing some back pressure, But it feels alot more responsive and it gave me some more high end torque. Highway traveling is very anoying in 5th gear. But once you get on the throttle it sounds mean as hell
BTW: Im looking for a low 8 second 0-60 time soon, maybe a high 7 second pass

My car runs with header,cat back,high flow cat,and cold air intake with K&N filter as a basic mods(I have some more minor mods too,like ground wires,8mm ignition cables,breather,AC belt out and 95 octan fuel) + short shifter and wight 2500,so 0-60 I can rich at 7000 RPM on second gear and it is 8.0 seconds.I gess ur car realy need some extra work.

racer, u got ne time slips? did u ever do a 1/4 mile run yet?....take note my car is automatic....last time i timed myself my best 0-60 so far went 9.96 sec.

He did it using a FREAKING STOP WATCH!!! Plus it's an automatic.

in my 2g nt i run 0-60 in 6.7 with a 15.6 1/4, you people must remember my car is a freak which makes me happy but not some of those other guys that make fun of my nt eclipse and then i smoke them...well thats just how it works!!!!

hey im only 17, im not aloud to go to the track. The one time i ran my car at the track I had to like dodge security and i almost got caught like 50 times, , so ill go to the track on Jan 13 when i turn 18

that sounds like a bullshit excuse to me,i have NEVER heard of at track at wich you have to be 18 to race,and i've been drag racing for 4 years now,the most restrictive track i ever saw required a valid drivers license. even NHRA certified tracks let 12 year olds run their Jr dragsters,those things run low 13's,i don't understand why you would'nt be able to run your alleged 15 second eclipse.

it doesnt sound like bs...out here a lot of the tracks wont allow you to use the track unless you are 18 or have a permission slip signed at the track by your parent.
