turbo back and cat back are the same thing except turbo back use bigger tubing like 3" as oppose to the catback which is 2.5 or 2.25..

o and its all the piping after the cat converter including the muffler..

Uninformed DSM brothers...

Turbo-back is exhaust piping from the turbo back. Just like it says. Can be 1", 2" 0.3"... 3". Who gives a f*ck. It just means it is the exhaust system from the O2 sensor housing (sometimes including the O2 sensor housing) back to the muffler.

Now can you guys guess what a cat back system is? That's right. The exhaust system from the catalytic converter to the muffler. Again... Could be 0.3", 1", 2", 3"... 1000". Doesn't matter the size. Just the location.

I guess you guys with n/t's just don't know cause you are n/ts.

i have plans of doing a turbo conversion and would prefer to buy only one exhaust for obvious reasons. so a turbo back exhaust wont work in an n/t will it?

no a turbo back exhaust won't work....but most turbo back kits have the cat back, then they inlcude a downpipe(in between the turbo and cat).
so you could buy one of these as long is it has seperate peices(cat back and downpipe) and install the cat back for now untill you go turbo then you can use the downpipe.
