When its hot here, about 100, but my engine is cold, it doesn't want to start. It cranks over a few times and seems to push a little fluid out the over flow. Then hesitates for a second once starting then is fine, afte that, I can turn it off and it will start perfectly, could this be the choke?

I don't have my owners manual, is that on the end of one of the tubes coming off the intake tube?

It is the valve that sticks into the imtake manifold. There is a rubber hose that runs from your valve cover to the intake manifold(it's the one on the left of the VC by the oil cap) that black thing the hose goes to is your pcv. I don't think that's your issue though. I also don't know what might do that either, I have not heard this one before.

what about my head gasket, why would it do it only when its hot out and the engine hasn't started, If I leave it all day and start it at night its fine

who knows, but the fact that you are ineffect pressurizing the cooling system , leads to a leak in the water jacket. the easiest place for water to leak is between the head, and the block hence the head gasket.

has it overheated? did the previous owner overheat it?

do a compression check, look for mid to small changes in the pressure of each cyclinder about 15-25+psi difference.

if it is the headgasket it would also be a good time to change the timing belt, balance shaft belt, belt tensioner, and water pump.
