Hi,...the 7 bolt engine went in my 93 laser,....and there is only 6 bolts available here,..my cylander head is frexh rebuilt,...can i use it on a 6 bolt engine?
Also are the 6/7 bolt driveplates different for the AT?

Yeah, you can use the 6. And yeah, you can still use your head as well.

but realize that either your flywheel or flexplate (automatic) will have to change and the head bolts from your 7 bolt can't be re-used since they're torque to yield bolts which means that when you torque them down they stretch and will never hold right again.
