i heard they were very effective, you just have to play around with them (test and tune) to get the best gains from them. not sure where to get them, try www.nopi.com . later
 
i am clueless. what is a ground wire kit and what is the point?
(i know what grounding a wire for an amp or the battery or something like that but for you engine?)
 
its like installing udp's
using a groundin wire with less resistance than th stock ones will let current flow alot easier. less power is lost to run your accesories meaning more power to the wheels. you can do it yourself no problem.
run some nice thick wire (4 ga will work like posted above) from your battery to the chassis, one from the battery to the head, one from the head to the tranny and one from the head to the alternator, then from the alternator to the firewall. you could also run them all to the battery(NEGATIVE TERMINAL) but i dont know which would give the most gains.
i think the best way to do it would be using a high copper count wire(low restriction, cheap price) and in a continueous loop(battery to tranny to head to alternator to firewall) but don't quote me on this
 
You don't want to run them in a star pattern or else you'll get shity reception on your radio(or something like that). Run them in series from the neg terminal, to the mani, to the firewall, to the pass fender, to the front of the engine bay, to the starter, to the neg terminal. Run it in a ring - supposedly thats the way to go.
 
i put a hyper ground system on my car and it helped pretty good. you just ground it to different points on your car. mostly starter, firewall, intake manifold, front part of your frame, on your coil, and from your battery to driver side fender well.
 
I know this is in the N/T section, but incase anyone, like me, uses the search and finds this thread, a buddy of mine showed me an article from a magazine where they got a 5.4 hp gain and 16.4 ft/lbs ON THE DYNO on a 1g Turbo DSM from a grounding kit.

Haven't done the mod, YET, but I plan on it :D
