but anyways im gettin my new jersey license suspended because i got too many points

i live in florida too tho... if i get a florida license i know i can drive in florida....

but what happens if i bring my florida license to nj and drive with a nj license suspended... but having a florida license not suspended?

thanks anyone im wondering and searching.. maybe u guys can help

Probably won't work, most of the states have reciprocity anymore, NJ will tell on you. And of course, your mileage may vary. Be aware none of them will pat you on the head and say, "There, there, a bit of fraud is okay, don't worry about it."

and when a cop pulls me over i just show them i have a florida license

This is the same situation as me driving from VA through NJ and getting pulled and having my licence suspended. That doesn't mean that my VA licence is also suspended. That's why every state has a DMV it's not a federal suspension that covers all states or anything. Now being that you live both places, that may be a little bit different. But the thing to remember is this, it's not something on a piece of plastic that says your suspended. So as soon as they put your social, or ID# in their cpu it's going to come up that you are suspended in NJ. So basicly, you can't drive in jersey or they will bust you if your pulled, it doesn't matter what licence your carrying, you can't drive in NJ. So in turn to reference back to my example above, if I had had my licence suspended in jersy, and I drove back through with my VA licence and was pulled over, it would still be driving on a suspended licence. Does that make sence?

when you drive through NJ with a FL license, your name is still the same ... SO if by chance you get popped in NJ their going to run your name and ... BUSTED woop woop! It doesn't matter what license you have, you don't have one to drive in NJ so you'd be illegal!

In Washington, the DMV does not Communicate with other states. The DL# is run by the cops, and unless that license has issues, it doesn't matter what happened in Montana, or Arizona, or Oregon... Not that I have a record or anything...

See now I was always under the impression that if you had your license suspended in one state you weren't able to get a license in another state. When I had to switch my lincense from a Georgia license to a NJ license they have an area asking if you have your license suspended in any other states (you can leave blank if you want I guess) but I would figure that it would catch up with you sooner or later.

It all depends on the state and if they communicate with the one you are trying to get a license in. But if you have a Fl license, then your license isn't getting suspended in Jersey, your Priveledge is...
It happened to me, I still have a PA license and got to many points in NC, PA doesn;t talk to NC so they never new about anything, but my Priveledge to drive in NC was suspended for 60 days. My record was clean for the other 49 states, but if I got yanked in NC, I would have gone back to jail for the suspended priveledge thing again(yes they do lock you up for that $hit )
