2.0nt preformance

Me and my dad are building a kick ass show talon, we dont want a turbomotor but want to build a kick ass fast, nt motor, how much horse can we crank out of a 2.0nt motor, thanks for your time

This question is somewhat unaswerable. But, I'll give it a shot. Is money an issue? Cuz if its not, you can do lots of things.

Nope, it's ignorance I'm picking up on.

90-94 Non-turbo DSMs had a Non-turbo 2.0 4g63 . It was not until 95 that they received tha 420a.

As for a 2.0NT 4g63, the basic bolt ons such as Intake, Header and exhaust will yeild a nice gain. You can also install 91+ 5 speed turbo cams into it for a small increase in power. Porting the intake manifold will give a very small gain since the runners are already huge for a NT.

All bolt ons might get you to 155-160hp. Past that, I don't know what to tell you.

if you're goin show why didn't you get a 2g? I mean one g's are nice, i'm not putting down any DSM just i see 2g as more of a show car....

There's something you don't know. the 2.0NT 1g is not a 420A

you could also go with higher compression and some porting....but then it gets a little pricey.
i think a 1g would be a good show car cuz its different then the typical show car.....and they can look sooooooo nice!would you get popups or regular headlights?

they have 135 stock.....so thats 20-25....not a whole lot.
i think if you really want a fast all motor car, you will need to do some serious work...like higher compression pistons and a fuel system to supply it....porting the heads...but like one of the previous posts asked, how much of a problem is money? good to see a 1g going to shows....man they are sexy.

here the 1g had 150 hp stock!so those mods would only bring 5 to 10 hp,
i kinda thought that doing those basic mods would bring some more...

I personally rather have a 1st gen for show, the body style looks more sporty and faster and they are more rare. and in america the stock 1st gen was 135hp from everywhere ive read.
