I have a 1997 eclipse N/T RS. I need to replace one of the pistons. I don't have very much money. I have a chance to buy some used 1992 turbo pistons. I know we have different engine but I was wondering if anyone new if that would work. Also do you know where I can buy just one piston for cheap? Can I even replace just one piston? Any help would be great!

You can replace just one slug, but I would reccomend doing all 4 if possible. You can do just one though. Don't forget to get new rings, and no the turbo piston will do you no good. Remember though if your going the boneyard route you can use the neon pistons and the I4 avenger pistons as well.

You can also use 4cyl Stratus, Sebring, and PT Cruiser pistons too since they all have the same bore... just different stroke.

You can't use a piston that has a diff stroke b/c it will change the compression ratio if you install it in the wrong block.
