MR2 races

Has anyone out there raced any 2g MR2's? thats '91-'95. We dont have many around here and i've never seen one run. gimme details. (My guess is most of those who have raced them had to play catch-up.)

i spanked one in the quarter mile(non turbo of course), i pulled away in 3rd gear. all i got is a 2.2 stroker block with intake,cam gears, n exhaust. im getting my engine ready for turbo. the mr2 was quick off the line but that was it.

we were keeping up w/ a 94? (non turbo) Mr2 w/ mild mods, in a full 4 Door (99?) sentra with mild mods GXE (we were driving my female friends old car)

my friend has a MR2 (non-turbo....the time when we raced) i win some, he wins some.....its just whoever is quicker of the line. But now he has the 3SGTE so i dont race him anymore.

What was the race like right off the line usually?

usually he'll get off the line quicker since its RWD
