Air Silencer

I've heard quite abit of talk about the air silencer. What is it? Where is it? What does it do? and What gains will I get from removing it? BTW I own a 90 Plymouth Laser with a non turbo 1.8

I think you're talking about the one in the air intake. I wouldn't bother. It won't do anything for you.

Its in your MAS. You have to take it apart to get it out. Its just like this paper kind of stuff. Just be careful not to damage the honeycomb lookin stuff in your MAS when you take it out
