Venom 400 & JET computer chip.....................

any of these worth while? anyone have them? would it be better to spend the $300 elsewhere? thanks!

well the jet ecu upgrade i have heard is great, a couple of people i know have it and they swear by it, and if you think about it it has too help.

the venom 400 i have looked into it and it seems good but i would think the ecu would help more but if you do that much more modifing then i would wait for a while and get it after alot of mods are done, this way it will be more effective.

the venom is supposed to add up to 25% hp increase, i want it but hear its junk, just through his site though. i have yet to talk to someone who actually has it, peace.

I know a couple of people who have wasted their money on both of these pieces of crap. You ever wonder why the venom 400 claims to give power under certain rpm and while not under wot, well thats because it fools the computer in to opening the throttle more than your pushing on it. So if you think your about 20% on the throttle, with the venom 400 you would really be at 45%. So I say, why pay for something that you can do for free. The Jet chip actually did nothing for his car, it didnt even take out the revlimiter, nothing. Fortunately AFX is working on a ecu for the 2GNT's which are similar to the ones out for the neons.

All the Venom does is trick you ECU into thinking 75% throttle is 100% throttle and increase fuel delivery...don't waste your money!!!
