Ever since i have owned this car it has done this. Every time i turn my ac on it squeals for a given amount of time then stops, and the ac light blinks, then does it again. And when i take a tight turn it squeals for however long im taking that turn. I've tried tightening and loosening the belt and that doesn't help. Not sure what else would cause it to do this.:hmm:

I have checked other threads and none have been resolved or did not have anything useful.

you say it squeals when you turn. that doesn't sound like an ac problem it sound's like a power steering problem if it is you as it probably need's to have the oil changed in the ac compressor but you can't do it your self if you let it out it is really harmful to you and everyone else. does it do it even when the ac is off if so try running it without the belt and see if it still makes the sound.

Are you motor mounts good? Apon tearing my car apart the engine mount was so bad that the a\c compresor wheel was rubbing the suspension crossmember also had a busted rear metal mount with a misssing bolt.

No it only squeals on super tight turns when the ac is NOT on. And my motor mounts are good. I have a feeling my clutch is seized or is not lubricated. PS: the squealing comes from the compressor not the power steering.

Its not the ac, its not the power steering. Its the belt that drives the alternator, power steering and water pump. When you turn on the AC or turn the wheel, there is more load on the belt(s) and if your belt is loose or worn, it will slip on the pulleys instead of doing its job to drive the accessories and this is what causes the squealing. Replace the outermost belt on the harmonic balancer and tighten it to spec, and if the others havent been replaced in a long time, replace them as well.

Ill try a new belt. If the belt doesnt work, i believe i need a new compressor.

EDIT: found the problem. Sprayed wd40 on the clutch that goes into the compressor and the squeal disappeared. I know it is not a permanent fix but now i do the compressor needs lubricant.
