If you have a palm m100, you can buy the CJ-11 which is an OBDII module connector that allows you to hook up the PDA to the cars's OBD connector under the steering wheel. The software that comes with the CJ-11 allows you to do real-time engine diagnostic by logging information such as sensor voltage, temperature, battery charge, trouble codes and a host of other information. See http://www.injectoclean.com/English/Products/products.html.

To the best of my knowledge, the CJ-11 currently does not support direct interfacing with computers in general. You have to use a PDA such as the Palm m100, m105,Palm III series, Palm V series, Palm VII series, Handpring Visor Deluxe, Visor Platinum, Visor Prism, Visor Neo, Visor Pro and Handspring Visor Edge. The CJ-11 people are currently working on a version that will interface with other versions of the Palm Pilot and also the Sony CLIE.
