Besides the fact that it's not made anymore, why would there be a problem?
Yep.Pin outs you mean like using a 90 ecu in a difffernt year, or using a different year in a 90? That kind of pin outs where you have to change things around?
Junkyards, classifieds section, eBay...Well dose anyone know where I can get a PCM other than the dealer?
Eh? Whoever you spoke to at the dealer may be thinking of the SRT-4 or some of the newer cars with PCM's unique to the car. For those cars it's true that the PCM must be flashed with the car's VIN number.Well thought of that but the dealer told me that it needs to be tuned for each car that's why they replace them with PCM
The same transmission... A/T or M/T.Ok what do you mean by same tranny as in A/T or the S/N and P/N numbers on the side?
Yep, plug and drive, I think it says you must run at least 91 in it though(at least I know you used to when it was made for the 97 only) so if you wanting something to just put cheap gas(is there such a thing anymore?) in and put around in then you might just want to source a used one. If not, then the AFX is a GREAT tool to use if you don't want to use MS! Just plug it in and drive, its self learning!

I run it, yes it works extremely well. (do not run with boost) Actual dyno between AFX by itself and AFX comboed with SAFC is about 2whp (thats super accurate for a self tuner). I believe MB saw a 2whp diff as well when he comboed his afx with safc

Been running it since...wow at least 3 years. As for problems, not sure if you call it a problem, but having to run at least 91 octane can be annoying, also it is annoying anytime your battery dies/is disconnected. Just because it has to relearn the set up and you wont be as good as you could be right away.
Thanks for the additional information Fotowntalon.Been running it since...wow at least 3 years.
