i was thinking about boring out my stock 420a block to get rid of scoring. do you think it will be benificial? and if so how far could i do it?

umm dont know , but i wouldnt say do it! doesnt sound that great.......

It's always a good idea to bore the cylinders when doing a rebuild. Depending on the condition of the cylinders .020 over is an average over bore. It the cylinders are in good enough condition you can get away with just honing them.
