Hey I just wanted to share with everyone a race with a fellow DSMer today... I was cruising down through and I noticed a 97+ bumper like mine peeking at me in my rear view mirror from the car behind the one that was behind me, when it got into 2 lanes in slowed down and let him get beside me. I saw it was a spyder, with altezzas and other than that it looked stock. We messed around a little taking off and stuff and then we flew down trough traffic until we got to a good open area. We both took off and 1st gear was pretty much dead even, 2nd and 3rd I started SLOWLY pulling away from him. I have an Intake+cat-back. Stock vs stock who is faster cuz I know they have a 2.4 but they are heavier right? It'd be cool if they were the same cuz then i'd get to see what kind of gains I got from my intake+exhaust but i'd really like to know the 0-60 difference between the 2. By the way I let off in 3rd and slowed down because I only had my license a month or so and I was doing about 90 in a 25 that the cops watch very often. He seemed like a very good driver though, quick shifts like me. Quite a nice encounter with a fellow dsm'er and we'll just pretend he didn't have a stock car with altezza's:shhh:
