Time for rims...I don't knwo what to buy!!
Well, it's time for me to drop $1500-2000 on some rims and tires. I have a few things decided already. Definately using Toyo rubber, I want 18's, but I'm stuck between either Konig Tantrums or Racing Hart C5's. My car is black, and I don't know if I want gunmetal or not, because I don't know how it looks on a black car. Anyone have their .02 cents on this? Any other rims you think look sick?

well here is a pic of a 97 w/ 18" gunmetal OZ's. I really like the way he did this, but if I had a black car I would go with a silver rim

If you are gonna get konig tantrums, save yourself a few hundred $$ and buy motegi mr7's. They may weigh a little more but in my opinion they look a little better even though its basically the same style rim.

Thanks for that pic, i really like the agressive look with the gunmetal, but silver deos stand out a lot....but if you think about it, no one would be able to see the brake dust on gunmetal..heh

OK, if you are going to buy wheels and tires and don't want to waste your money, go to www.wheelmax.com. They probably have the wheel you want and they have proxes. I bought a pair of 17's with Kuhmo Supra Ecstas for 950 shipped to my house mounted, balanced, and ready to put on my car. 18's aren't that much expensive I don't think.

I'm 90% sure about 18" Motegi MR-7's in gunmetal. Still can't let go on the Racing Hart C5's though.

Try www.1010tire.com I goy my white Motegi 17'' rims with yokohama tires, balanced and ready to go, for under a grand. And they even throw in those thrifty nifty tire flys that people steal in one day. *smiles retardedly*
