Based on this poll i will buy my exhaust.

If you have read the other thread you know my criteria.. absolutely no farting whatsoever, cannot be a "coffee can", must be legal.. performance gains are not a necesity here since im only N/T, i just want it to sound HELLA GOOD!

Help me out plz!!
 
If you want a non farting/non coffee can that sounds good you might want to stick with your stock crap, put a turbo muffler on it, put a bunch of diffusers in whatever exhaust you get or put a turbo on the car to muffle the exhaust noise a bit. In short MYO! Magnaflow muffler, diffuser, and mandrel piping would sound good, mellow bassy sound withouth the "rice rattle" that so many Honda's with resonated tips get at anything above 3K and you can pick what size piping, muffler... :D
 
my suggestion is you get the pacesetter catback and get an aftermarket muffler put on it like I did. If your the same guy that is trying to get in C-DSM and will be at umstead tomorrow you will hear it then. It sounds good and looks good.
 
Get some friggin performance. This is DSMTuners, not DSMFartcaners. Buy real mods, make some real power, and stop wasting our time.

seeing at there is about 50 exhaust threads, this one suprisingly gets hardly any readings.

well, seeing as i make hardly $100 a week most of the time, thats not the best option..
 
well atleast wait until you hear mine then. Hell even better, if you come to one of our meets (carolina dsm) you should be able to hear and see how a good amount of those exhausts sound. Im trying to save you some money, both Don (guy with the HRC stg 2 kit) and I have the pacesetter and since you are on a budget like I was when i first started modding my car that may be your best bet. hmm... the universal APEX'i N-1.. if i swapped engines.. id just have to replace my headers?
 
so far i got a Flowmaster Rear section. sounds really nice (not rice). its 175 from summit racing and bolts right up to your factory pipes. it has a 2 1/4 inch pipe on it. in about a month im getting a shop to make me a center section with mandrell bend pipes with 2 1/4 pipeing. then getting a Random Tech Cat and HP Racing Header w/ down pipe. should sound nice and add some HP.

Later im adding a Hahn stage one turbo. the only reason im gettng a header now and turbo later is that my exhaust manafold is cracked.
 
ok why dont you just cut the muffler system of behins the catalytic converter.???? thats if you live in south ga J/K

ok heres what i did. i bought two mufflers and customed my own dual exhaust. looks nice no pics sorry no camera.:dsm:
 
If you want a deep, non-honda sounding exhaust, go with the GReddy evo, it looks good, and it sounds awesome, it's a deep roar, not the honda civic sounding weed wacker motor.
 
I just put on my Apexi N1 and i love it and wouldn't get anything else!!
I have pics in my gallery it looks wicked the only thing is that it is a little low looks wicked but i have only bumped it like twice in the past month so thats a good thing. installation was easy and no farting even if u try to make it. by far the best muffler and cat-back system!!
