I know this has been answered, just not for a n/t 420a. I need help installing my A/F gauge. I dont know if i should go into the ecu because i've heard that can start problems or if i should just go directly into the o2 sensor on the exhaust manifold.

if you do recomend going into the ecu does anyone have a link to a 420a ecu and where to put the o2 wire?

thanks a lot guys.....

I guess I should have asked which one, as in brand.

If you are not using a wideband, you are really just wasting your money.

If your using a narrow band, I believe off of memory (8 years back) it's the yellow wire with the black stripe off the ecu harness. Just run a wire tap off that for your signal wire. Wideband is highly recommended, otherwise your just getting something to take up space and show some pretty lights.
Look into the aem eugo, innovate LC1, plx. Those are all good units. The innovate can be tricky to setup and isn't quite as easy as the aem. I run the innovate and the Aem on my cars and like both a lot.

ok thanks guys, and do you know for sure that its that one wire? I dont want to mess anything up and pictures would be a great help.

my friend gave me his narrow band for free because i had one more gauge to put in my 3 gauge pod, dont worry I am gettting a wideband shortly :hellyeah:
