i got 95eclipse with 420a a/t. the speed sensor does not match up to whats pictured here.

is it that #24 that is the vehicles speed sensor unit itself. this pic is the speed sensor that i have bought.http://info.rockauto.com/Airtex/5S4681.jpg
it does not look like anything like #25. but it looks more like #24. with that said, that new part i bought has 3 wires. my original connectors has 8+. whats wrong here?
 
the speed sensor you have is the output one i had to replace it on mine when you pull the old one out their will be a gear on the end of it that you need to swap over to the new one. I think you my looked at the wrong connector ### it should only have 3 if you pulled the right one.
 
I know this is a little older of a post, but the sensor you bought is actually the "Vehicle Speed Sensor" Located on the top of the trans by the rear trans/engine mount.
