420A newbie, turbo questions.

ok so heres where im at, i just rebuilt my engine. i have 8:1 JE pistons in it with performance bearings etc now and im looking to throw a turbo on my car. i got some info already that i should get the Megasquirt tuner so im probably going to.

my main question is on what turbo kit to get. im looking to get higher boost in my 420(i want about 300-350 horses maybe more). ive heard many good things on hahn turbo kits. and ive been looking at this JDM turbo kit. i just want something that isnt going to break on me while giving some great power. if you could help me out a bit i could really use some help on this. i know my way around an eclipse just not the 420a heh.

and if you could post links to whatever it is ya show me that would also help me. thanks in advance and am looking forward to being a member of this community.
and also if theres any other things i should put in my engine internally to avoid blowing anything up let me know.

If you want reliability in a turbo kit then don't get some jdm ebay crap. Go with either hahn or treadstone if you don't want to piece your own kit together. I'd recommend treadstone as a starting point even if you wanted to piece together your own kit. IMO you should read A LOT on MSnS, then get that up and running before throwing boost at the car. If you do everything at once and then try tuning it, you may end up putting a hole in that nice freshly built block of yours and if you do the turbo setup first, you're going to end up buying parts that you will just replace once you go with MS

well i wasnt looking at the ebay kits, im pretty sure thats the best way to blow up an engine.
