420A Will a 4G63 Exhaust Fit on a 420A?

I know this should be in the Newbie Questions section, but i was just wondering, I have a
GS and i'm going to turbo it, can i buy an exhaust for a gst or do i have to buy a non turbo exhaust to fit the manifold?

I'm not exactly sure of your question. but:

You can't bolt a DSM turbo manifold to a 420a engine.
You can't bolt a turbo directly to a 420a exhaust manifold with the stock exhaust flange.

If you get a DSM turbo on your 420a, you can use the o2 housing for the beginning of the exhaust, but not the rest of the exhaust.

So basically if you're going to turbo your GS you will have to have custom exhaust from the turbo back, whether its an aftermarket turbo or a DSM turbo. You can't use any exhaust off of a GST except the o2 housing. (i think that answers it?)

Well I was going to get this turbo kit 420a Turbo kit 95-99 Eclipse Talon - TREADSTONE PERFORMANCE and i was wondering if I can throw on this exhaust: HKS USA Carbon-Ti Exhaust

Pretty much only made for the turbo Eclipses, but my question is since I am going to turbo my Eclipse and have the exhaust flange (I guess that's what it is or the manifold?) from the turbo kit, I was wondering if I could put that exhaust on it?

You CAN run a GST exhaust cat back, Back you will probably have to have a custom down pipe made to match up. But from the down pipe back the exhaust is the same on GST's and N/T's. And to get anything over 2.5'' you will have to get one for a GST, Or atleast 2.5'' is the biggest iv seen for a N/T.

And just so you know there is no turbo manifold made with a mitsu flange, All t3 (unless custom)

Yes i GST exhaust will fit, But i dont know 100% if it will fit with that down pipe. You might have to have one made, Just take it to a local exhaust shop it it shouldn't cost more than $150

It will fit with your kit. You will need to make a flex section, or have some shop do it. Throw a “HiFlow” cat in place of your stocker and you’ll be golden.

I had the apexi n1 catback exhaust from my 420a bolt right up to my 4g63. It all depends if you go with an aftermarket downpipe that is a different length. But they should bolt right up. Just do your research before you buy the two parts.
