PnP MSnS is HERE!!!!!

Yup that's right you guys that have been waiting for me to unleash the secret weapon here it is . Kinda sux because I won't be utilizing it because I'm not going in the direction that I thought with my 420a but I owed it to the comunity to stick it out try this out show you guys what it is and how crazy a setup this is gonna be. It is literally the 420a dsmlink but with AEM capabilities. I have yet to tune but it works just like MSnS so the tuning part of this is tried and true but the ease of installation is literally just like swapping and ecu. It came with a base setup that started up my fully built 420a NT with cams and ran just like stock and I even have a Q45 tb with no IAC. This is just the prototype so paul might make some more changes but as far as this goes for the NT guys it's all there. Turbo guys stay tuned I'm gonna let a fellow tuner run it on his 420a-T so you guys know what it can do. I'll let him come out and tell you guys how it works with boost when he feels ready but I just wanted to get the word out there it is here and it's everything they said it would be

How bad it's going to hurt your pockets I can't say for sure but It's no worse than a complete dsmlink setup(eprom ecu + dsmlink chip and cable) I did not make this like they said this is all Paul at Symtech Labs. I'm just giving him some basic feedback on stuff before it's finalized but they pretty much got it dead on looks like to me. Taking all the fun out of it doesn't matter to me I need easy install with timing and fuel control which this does.

I just ordered msns, I couldn’t wait for the pnp. That’s pretty sick how it fits in the shell of the stock ecu tho. Props to Paul on this one. Little thing looks pricey. It must feel damn good having the honor to test the first prototype, . Is it sensitive to engine bay temperatures?

It's sealed even better than the stock ecu in the stock ecu shell so it's not more or less prone to that stuff than a stock ecu is.

Don't quote me but like I said it will be about the same as a complete Dsmlink setup including ecu which is pretty much what your getting except you have more control.

If I run this and it will get rid of my check engine lights (due to my stock injectors and ignition timing control being lifted from the stock ecu and to the MSnS) I might just have to take the bullet and buy it cause of the emissions laws up here in toronto and the process of licensing here.

why are there two ports?
my 95 n/t has a single hook-up with a bolt in the middle.. i'm guessing this is for eclipses and 96+??

is that a ps/2 hook up? s.. why not usb? of course i could just use a converter....

"MSnS" is the now somewhat outdated acronym for "Megasquirt'n'Spark." Megasquirt is one of the least expensive but most powerful engine management systems available. MSnS was a type of upgraded firmware commonly used with the 420A. These days the developers simply call it "MS1/Extra."

The main connector you see is for 96-99 420A DSM's, 96+ Neons and 96+ 2.0L Avengers.

The port on the side is a serial port, Megasquirt doesn't have native USB support.
