Anyone interested in a stock rail with steel -6 or -8 AN male fittings TIG welded to it (feed and return style setup)????

I'm playing with them as a project for our neon SOHC turbo car and am making a few to get them just right. i've got 3 to work with, will be keeping one and if one of the other 2 is worht selling IMO it will be up for grabs if anyone is interested. should have them done by mid next week at the latest

Wow, i figured some one would jump on this, but since no one did i have to ask. What do you guys do for upgraded fuel systems on your cars? Do you just keep the stock return less rail and upgrade the in tank pump?

There are two rails available for 2gnts, early model conventional style, with a return and FPR on the end, and a late model returnless style, with only an inlet.

For both, we tap the rail for an -AN fitting, and upgrade the lines.

The factory rail is plenty large for %98 of us, so we generally keep it.

Hmmm.I welded the stock feed line closed, and then welded steel AN fittings on the ends instead of tapping the thin appearing steel end caps out of fear they would leak and possibly cause an engine fire.. And i do not trust JB weld with the safety of my motor against a fuel leak i guess. I went _8 feed with a -6 return as i think I've got the woman (owner of our neon turbo car) convinced to go E85 so i wanted to make sure there was plenty of flow.

So i guess there would really be no point in making extras since there is really no demand for them??? I made 3, one we're keeping for our car, another that is either spare or for sale and then a third which was "practice" and i wouldn't pass off to anyone unless they just said "I'll take it anyway" LOL

Even the stock 4g63 rail is plenty large to provide all the fuel one would need in most cases, but the adapters for the AN feeds get too close to the timing cover on the return and i figure I'd just weld the feed while i was at it. I am making one like this for my car and will either keep the little adapter plates for the AN feeds or sell em to some one local who needs em. Although it would be nice to have my 2nd motor "complete" and ready to drop in. I've got almost everything i need except a spare damper pulley and accessory brackets

there i go babbling again ..later fellas :D
