im having problems with my 1995 eagle talon esi. im new and iv owned this car for a week so i dont know much. but i think its the heater core. i was driving on the highway and looked down and i was overheating like a bi*** well it was leaking a lot of antifreeze and i found 2 holes in the heater hose going into the firewall so i replaced those not so much leaking but still have a really naste antifreeze leak. all my floorboards are swamped with antifreeze and when i drive my car it makes a naste sound sounds like boiling water/ antifreeze squirting everywhere. it makes that sound from under the dash right by the firewall. when i drive the car it will smoke from under the dash threw all the vents out my steering wheel and its antifreeze smoke it smells like kinda burning antifreeze. im thinking that the heatercore is clogged or the hose is bad. thats a big project i think. how much do u guys think is a resonable price to do the job?? im just gonna have my buddy bypass my heatercore but im wondering how big of a job it is and if i should pay him 500 300 1000. please help me. another thing is its leaking antifreeze down the firewall outside the car and its a big leak it makes my car overheat like a mother ####er. do you think that the heatercore would make this much of an antifreeze leak i just think i got another hose to replace ### its leaking from the motor compartment down the firewall but i cant find any hose at all. please help me thanx

Phew - have a bit of a headache now.

Your heater core is bad. Don't drive the car until you get the issue fixed - overheating can cause expensive damage.

Pay somebody to bypass your heater core? I wouldn't pay more than $5 - or you could do it yourself. Get a new length of heater hose - your current hose is shot and shouldn't be reused - and connect the out to the in.
