what the heck does that do? i looked through my haynes manual and couldnt find i description!

It's where the vacuum lines connect to on the IM. One goes the stock FPR, EGR valve and another to something else but I'm drawing a blank right now.

And PS, don't get those ceramic coated... they break and are a pain to get out when they become one with the IM lol

quick question, if you were to buy an aftermarket intake manifold would you reuse that peice?
