You will want to research megasquirt... A LOT! Heh, that is pretty much the best fuel management we have for this platform. There is a PnP Megasquirt system in the works that should hopefully be out any month now. It is supposed to make installation a 10 minute process instead of trying to solder and connect about 20 wires. My guess is that will run around $700 or so. You can also look up Hahn's portfueler and the SFMU, but for high power goals IMO Megasquirt is the best option. Portfueler would be second, and if I REALLY had to I guess a SMFU, but mostly just avoid the SFMU.

Like stated changing cams is not something you really want to do more often then you have to.

First off didn't even think of the evo(not 4g63 actually evo) engine swap that would be nasty. Doing a awd swap just isn't worth it anymore with tire and suspension tech. You can get slicks and enough bad ass suspension parts like traction bars coilovers uner car braces ect for a lot less and cut 1.8 60ft's. Sure awd's can cut 1.6 and even some 1.4 but if you can hang close to a awd car for the first 60ft you will walk him up top. Wait for someone selling a long block on here and you will get your build done for the amount your looking to spend. ANy other way you will be past 3k in a hurry.

The obx is a OK unit when you do the proper mods to it but best bet would be to contact All motor mike and ask him if he would make you one but that is not a budget part but is def worth every penny. Exhaust look on Ebay for a N1 style 3" WITHOUT kneck downs at the flanges and intake just get some pipe and a filter no point wasting money on a part you will be getting rid of soon.
