So i have a 95 eclipse that ive done everything else to and i believe its now time to build the motor.. one problem is its a 420a. i see no problem building the motor cause i have the resources to do so its just a matter of i have heard of only problems with the motor and boosting and putting a lot of horse to it. just wondering if this is true that when i do build and boost does it have problems holding it or will the block or something along those lines break? thanks for any help you can give me

See you are a fellow MN'er.

If the stock longblock has been proven to handle 10-15 psi with tuning and a good fuel system, I doubt you will dissapointed if you built the motor.

Depends on what your goals are.

You can boost about 10PSI on the stock internals. You have to tune it right tho.

Also you can also just search turbo 420a and see what you can come up with.

and if your going to boost it with a stock block i would first make sure your motor is at least back to oem specs. trust me i slaped a turbo on mine and my block was messed up and it blew 4 weeks later. but now that mine is biult it will basicly take anything you through at it.
