I'm thinking it aint possible but...is it possible to mount a 14b turbo on a manifold designed for the t-3, or do you need one specificly need one for the 14b? I'm asking because i have a friend who is going to give me the 14b i just neeed to make sure to get the right manifold.

Just get a 2g turbo manifold. The 14b is a mitu turbo so you have to use a mitu flanged manifold. Im sure they have adapter flanges, but i wouldnt mess with them and just get the right manifold for the turbo.

The problem is .... I don't have the 4g63 so finding the right mani is a bit harder when trying to do a budget turbo kit as i wanted

I was in a similar situation with the very cheap/free 14b turbo. The route I chose to take was to purchase the t3 treadstone style manifold and use adapter plates for the turbo to manifold. I had the plates made by a friend of mine. The only problem here is finding someone to make the plates cheap enough to justify this route.

No need to find someone to make those plates... Hahn already makes and sells an adapter plate. It's about $75 I believe: not the cheapest thing for a piece of drilled steel, but not outrageously priced either. There are also multiple companies online (including some on eBay) that sell 38mm block-off plates. Nice work, though! I've suggested your method numerous times to others but I've never seen anyone actually do it.
