Alternate A/C Chargers

Would anyone know of any? I currently have no A/C due to my downpipe placement but I would like to have A/C. I figured there's got to be some sort of replacement I can modify, weld or mount. A smaller unit would be great for my fitment issue, and I can modify the brackets to mount them. Would this be possible? This hotter weather is getting to me, I want my A/C back! TIA for all replies..

Damn, before I scrolled down, I was thinking the same thing.

My oil feed line is in the way of the bracket, so I am interested if there are other cars that would work just as well.

I've never heard of anyone using an alternative a/c compressor for our cars. PM jackoftrades (jamie) on Team-2g or 2GNT as he just recently had a 3" downpipe done using his P/S and A/C still. He can maybe give you some pointers on how to design a new one.

That wasn't meant towards you Mike . I was just letting them know, it's possible and has been done many times over. So, looking for parts from another car seems a bit extreme and then some to me hehe
