Missing Link

I have a question about my missing link. The Check engine light on my car turned on and i was wondering why. Doesn't the missing link prevent that from poping out?

The missing link prevents the MAP sensor from seeing boost. It doesn't prevent a CEL, although it shouldn't cause one either. What code are you getting?

I'm guessing it's from voltage too high or low. Caused from a faulty Missing link. FCD is the way to go.

Well I forgot to mention before I had installed the turbo the check engine light was already on and when I had installed the turbo and everything I had restarted my ECU and for a while it didn't turn on until yesterday so I dont know. Unless the filter on the Mlink is dirty. Also the car is running normal no hesitation's no nothing. I just have the check engine light on all the time.

He mean's do the keydance if your 95-96 (works on some 97's too) or go to advance or autozone or whatever and have them check what the code is for you. If you don't know what the keydance is, do a search
