What would be the quickest way to get a substantial hp gain

Okay so Im really new to the whole dsm/tuner world and I just have a few questions.
I have a 99 O-Z edition Mits Eclipse GS. Non turbo, Automatic. Im really just tired of being revved on and looking real stupid when suped up tiburons and civics are beating my on the highway. So Im ready to invest. Here are my Questions....

What would be the quickest way to get a substantial hp gain?
If I buy a turbo, what should I look for?
What else do I need to buy to get the most out tof my turbo?
What kind of adjustments do I need to make to my ECu to control boost, run high HP without screwing up my transmission?
Exhaust?
and last but not least... Where can I find the best deals on parts?

Honestly, your best route is to keep your car for a backup and save up for a factory turbo car.

But NA guys hate hearing that.

NA DSMs are good, dependable, economical, visually pleasing cars. Use them as that.
