the filter should end up sitting behind your front bumper on the driver's side, near where my Lower intercooler pipe is going. You can also see the piping coming out of the throttle body, it will run just like that, and end go down just like mine goes towards the intercooler.

some people are likely thinking it will get caked with snow and water. If you leave the plastic cover in place on the bumper, and you have a bypass on your intake, I dont see it being much of a problem.

i dont have one on my eclipse, but i have had them on others, and it was never an issue. of course if it is an issue, there will probably be 10 posts beneath this correcting me.

sweet...well i just try it out and if theres problems take it off and wait til spring
thanks

Safe side is using a short ram or putting in a bypass valve (I have one lying around pm me if you're interested) I can say with the bypass on, I've gone through very deep puddles and have also had snow packed pretty much around the filter and was fine. Snow I don't see you having a problem with it without a bypass, rain on the other hand, if there's a problem, you're most likely going to be tearing apart your engine to fix the problem and not just taking off the CAI.
