95 Eclipse Non-Turbo Trans Swap???

I have a 95 Eclipse 420A / 2.0L Non-Turbo. I need an automatic trans and I'm told that the conversion is only eclipse/avenger/sebring and talon 95 only.

Is this true?

I've also been told by one yard that the 96 Sebring with 2.4 or 2.0 will work. This sound to good to be true as I can get one of these for 50-75 bucks at pull-a-part of augusta, GA.

The other one I have lined up for 250.00 out of 95 eclipse. Please someone with some experience tell me which ones will fit.

So long as the 'Venge/Sebring is a 2.0L 420A with the exact same engine as in your car, it should work just fine. I'm pretty sure about that, but I'm also checking with someone as I post this. Will update if I'm wrong.

EDIT:
Electronically, they're all the same, but the connectors are different. You would likely have to snag the harness from the donor car and do some cutting/splicing to make things work. Your easiest bet is to pop for the same year model. You can NOT use the tranny from a 2.4L, 2.5L or 3.0L. It will have to be a 420A.
