Porting intake manifold

I ordered a 57mm throttle body. Im definitely going to install the T.B. but will the 57mm throttle body and porting my intake manifold be too much for a 420a engine? I talked to a guy who owns a race shop and he says ill probably loose alot of low end power if i do both the T.B. and port the intake manifold.

i doubt it...maybe you should pm 1tuffrs on this board. he did the jeep tb conversion, which i think is a 60mm and i believe he ported his intake manifold. he said he got incredible gains.

by the way where did you find a 57mm tb for the n/t eclipse

This place will do 55mm and a 57mm TB. Call them, they are very nice.
