75 shot on a 1.8?

I'm not sure about the 1.8, but DSMs in general can suposedly handle up to a 75 shot with little to nothing over stock. Bigger fuel pump or rewire wouldn't hurt. Basically, you want to make sure your car is running the way it should, full tune-up to make sure everything is in tip-top working order is a smart idea. Cold spark plugs and premium gasoline and you should be just fine. Just don't abuse it.

Also, your going to want to make sure that your timing isnt advanced on your 1.8 because advanced timing is asking for detonation.

The injectors on the 1.8s are like 250ccs so you may want to go with a wet shot or a fogger system. That or put in some 2.0L injectors.
