coolant drain and refill on the nt? please help

k i gotta do this tomorrow rain or shine, wait i mean snow or shine anyway. it says pull the plug on the block to help drain coolant from the block. is this absolutely necessary? i mean will it all drain from the radiator drain c8ck and if it is absolutely necessary to drain from the block too does anybody have a pic or diagram of where the plug is? goddamn chiltons manual sucks at life, no good stupid hand drawn diagrams. what were they thinking? anyway please help. i would appreciate it. also when i refill it, does it matter if i put half water in first, 3.75 qts. then on top of that 3.75 qts. coolant or should i pre mix em together? i mean will they mix together in there if i do it the first way? i know im a moron, but i need ya help

its best to mix them before you put it in. however i dont think it matters very much.

i wouldn't worry about flushing the block, just drain from the bottom of the radiator.

yea, you don't need to worry about draining the block its not like changing oil you just need to get most of it out. The drain #@%#@%#@%#@% should be at the bottom of the radiator on one of the two corners(forgot which side). you could premix the coolant before putting it in or just pour in one half and then the other but that way isnt 100% accuate, or you can go real yuppy and buy that already premixed stuff that they make now.

thanks man. hopefully i did everythoing right. i think i ended up with more water than coolant, cause it didnt take 7.4 qts. like it said. i had a thing with 3.75 qts of water and i put most of that in and then i put like 3/4 gallon of coolant. does that sound right? lemme know thanks.

i know what has this world come to when u cant say c0ck on the friggin internet. i mean i cant say drain c0ck or this happens, drain #@%#@%#@%#@%
