You'll automatically throw the car into limp mode, if it'll want to run at all. Do the smart thing and connect your O2's.

Are you asking this for "a friend" or something? I can see in your profile that you have a 2GNT with a turbosystem installed, but you're asking about a header and omitting the O2 sensors? That's pretty bizarre, man.

If you lose the rear, you will get a CEL, but the car shouldn't run any different, but if you lose the front, the ECU will go into a default, super-rich fuel map that is intended to stave off detonation. You'll get shitty mileage, smell awful, kill your cat in short order, and probably backfire all over the place when you compression brake.

Just keep them where they are supposed to be. There is no gain to be had by playing with them.

I had to have my front o2 duct taped up under the fender for a couple days. The car ran and idled like shit for about a half an hour, but once it kicked into default it ran alright. Not a good idea but if you have to do it you can get by for a very short time. It's not something to permanantly do though
