Is there a website where i can buy all the parts to rebuild my 420a? I want to rebuild it and put stronger parts in what do you recomend?

Yeah Howell Automotive is fairly priced in my opinion. I am actually having them build me a 2.2L stroker motor with stronger internals as we speak. Total cost of the bottom end is $2500 already built. You can buy the parts for $1099 or just the regular 2.0L engine for $1899 w/core. Check them out if you have not already. Seems to be the best place that I have looked at.

Good Luck!:dsm:

yeah deffiantally go to howell. get their bottom end kit. $1.099 je pistons eagle rpds and some other good stuff you will need

Anyone know how much it'd cost to have a local garage rebuild the bottom end? How many hours should it take them?

I'd do it myself.. but i don't have the tools, and for something like a bottom end, i'd prefer to just get it done and not worry about it.

kind of off topic, but i was at the howell site and noticed something called phantom grip. was wondering if anyone knows anything about this or anyone that has installed. thanks
