time sheets on the turbos

does anyone have any times on the stage I kits and the stage II kits. just wondering so i know what to buy this summer?

Well it's nothing to brag about, but my best time with a HRC stage 2 was 14.7 @ 98mph. at 10psi. My sixty foot times are horrendous 2.4 secs. I also run all of my runs on my 1998 17" GSX wheels with Kumho's. Still faster than a stock GS-T and much faster than the 16.8 times when stock.

Total engine rebuild and trans fix is already happening. Can't wait to get back to the track in the spring!

Stock N/T's run 16.60 1/4 times, you would think 10 pounds of boost would knock off more than 2 seconds of the stock time.

Yes it should if you are a perfect driver. However, with the newfound power, you will find that it's NOT just a matter of mash the gas and get better than 2 secs. off the stock ET. If that was the case then we would ALL be professional drag racers. Wheelspin becomes a big issue and so does turbo lag etc.etc. Slap a turbo on your car and you too will see what I am talking about. Tha car is much faster than it was for sure. Keep in mind that HRC was also using drag radials and are most likely better drivers than the average JOE.


Whether you can duplicate what HRC does at the track or not doesn't really matter, you will enjoy all of the power that you have and never regret it!
