to much throttle play

where the pedal meets the throttle cable there is like a half inch of cable movment before it picks up the cable end. does anyone know how to tighten the throttle cable... thanks for the help ...

there is an adjustment on the throttle body itself where the cable meets.

If you have cruise control the adjuster is in that box. Its just like a brake cable on a bike.

i had that problem and all i did was clamped one of the small fishing weights behing the ball on my pedal and it took out all the slack.. dont clamp too tight so it can be removed later. my cruise control doent work so i couldnt adjust it.
