Cams Question

I know one of the cams on the 4g63T and the 4g63 non turbo are the same... But the Intake is different and and the Exhaust is the same??? See I been asking around and getting alotta different answers, so could someone set it all straight finally? thanks in advance

yea this is a debate between us on aim because i cant remember but i beleive its the exhaust cams, he says intake cams. i cant remember. im getitn stupid lately

With such a horrible misspelling of guarantee, you lose by default man.

Pretty sure the cams are different. We had some questions come up about it last spring when we did a head swap on a GSX. I think one was from a 1G, the other from a 2G. They were different, but not very. I don't want to spread any misinformation here on such a serious technical forum, though, so I'll leave this at chastising you for such poor grammar.

Both cams are bigger. The difference is so minute, however, it makes it not worth the swap. You won't notice a difference.

i'm pretty sure the turbos are bigger or else you wouldn't be able to fully utilize the turbo.

this is not the question were asking guys, we know for a fact the tsi 1g camshafts are the biggest stock cams mitsu made. what were asking is which cam is bigger then the n/t cam


the one turbo cam is the same as one of the cams in the n/a motor. but which is it the intake cam or the exhaust cam.

soem old threads. pros and cons. peoepl who have doen it in other threads sa its worth it, soem say its to much trouble for the few extra horses. you really wont notice the difference if the motor and all is stock, but after intake and full exhaust its definately noticable.

there is oen thread there with someone who did the swap and ran lean on a n/t. if he ran lean it had to have made a good difference
