Calgary,
My current 0-60 time is a horrible 9.2 seconds. I just got all my turbo parts today, just need the sfmu, and I was anticipating if the turbo will make my accel. time better. If it does, by how much? :D

motor mounts, suspension and some good sticky tires help. but your gonna see your biggest improvements in how fast YOU shift. get a good short shifter, practice your timings and learn your shift points.

i redline 1st to get rpms up, then i shift when power dips off. it all depends on mods/gearing.

turbo can improve accelleration, just you wont see it as much where you want to, but the difference from 60-140+ is gonna be the place where you knotice it. ive gotten off the line faster than a few turbo cars, up till about low-mid 2nd gear, but nothing to brag about, and it wasent that much, 1/2 car id guess. thats on a jetta 1.8t, a laser rs turbo and a turbo teggy.

off the line, my 1.8 nt was faster then my gst....which spun through first and then slipped in second. thats with upgraded mounts and alot of other attempt to get traction. im sure sticky tires would have helped me though at least alittle. but like stated, you will notice it more later down the track
