a guy from my omaha board told me that i can get a head off a avenger/sebring and breeze/stratus because they had the 420a. Is this true. Also is the price of $500 too much for a reman. head.

why would you want there heads? i thought our heads have amazing flow for stock, so i would think that a sebring avenger head would either be the same or worse. P&P your stock one with that $500 or do it yourself for free

I'd think the head is the exact same. Why would DCX tweak one and not the other? We came with 140 stock, they came with a stated 150 imo (so, using ricer logic, theirs might be "better"). :shrug I agree about the spending the $500 on some work. No need for anything serious. Especially if you're going turbo. Might look into picking up the PT Cruiser lifters/lash adjusters and getting a 3 angle or so. Other than that, if you're on a budget, the rest starts to get pricey.

arnt they 2.4L? if they are that would explain the extra 10 ponies

I guess I should of clarified the reason for the swap. I cracked my head and needed a new one. Sorry for misleading you guys, I just thought for a reman. head a 500$ price tag was a little extreme.

you would think correctly; 500 beans is a lot. a 420a head is the same all around. And i'm one of the guys that posted in your thread on the omaha board. Me thinks you dont trust us

well if you looked back on O.R. you just said you had 4g63 heads and 4wheeler had the input so I naturally had to get a second opinion. But oh well, I found one out of state so hopefully i'll be cruising in my DSM in no time.
