I know most you guys think this is crap but they dyno'd it, I know it wont turn my car into a ferrari don't get me wrong but for 70 bucks for even 10 HP, intake barely gets you that and that's like 200, you can't tell me 70 bucks isn't bad for 10 hp and plus it's a 30 day money back thing so if yo don't like it send it back...if it's got that it must work somewhat anyone got on installed and like it?

Never bough or installed it (obviously). Looks like a waste of $$$ to me. I would think that if the Tornado "technology" actually worked, you'd find them on certain cars as they rolled out of the factory.
I'm sure the reason most people don't return the thing after they discover it doesn't work is because it's too much of a hassle to do so.

I would be shocked if it got you 1 hp.

With those $70 save it, save $70 more and buy a udp for $140 and have assured hp

hes good with math^^

id get a udp instead too.

yea some guy at a shop was trying to get me to buy one. i dont think it will do anything either. any velocity increase from the spinning air would imo be killed by having a large metal object in you intake.

It is a Waste of money...

It was tested by the fda, go do a search for false claiming products.

I think you may mean the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) not the FDA (Federal Drug Agency). Not that I would believe what either unconstitutional federal authority says...

But you will believe what some schmo out to make a buck off of misinformed people says? Even though the product has no performance improvement to it, the horror stories should be enough to scare you off anyway. There have been numerous reports, and I know some of the people from other forums personally, of the spot welds used to hold them together failing and the metal pieces flying through the intake and taking out some valves with it, let alone the cylinder walls or head surface itself. Trust me, if it was all it is worth then it would be MUCH more popular and used by practically all race associations and performance minded car manufacturers. Just because they pour 90% of their efforts into marketing and 10% in to research and development dosent mean it is effective. Ever heard of Z-Max? The Tornado, intake resistor, electric supercharger, and all other false claims are a waste of money. Don't take my word for it, do more research.

this is how that would go:

1. Order Tornado Saver
2. Post on Tuners, hey i got my tornado whatever that shit is called (and get flamed for it LOL)
3. hey guys why the fu(k isnt this working?
4. Guys a couple of my valves went, what do i do?

LOL DONT BUY IT

They showed you on TV that they dyno'd it.

Here's hoping you don't see those women on the "call me" commercials.

i was waiting for a comment from you, they brighten my day

I've thought about this one a bit too, and it really doesn't make sense to me. If you are using incoming air to spin a device, that device won't be able to produce more flow than what is used to spin it.
Now if they made some kind of turbine that spun externally that drove another turbine internally with some really huge ratios, that may make a small difference.
But as far as just putting a spinning device in the intake... I think it could only be a restriction of air flow. Some energy will be lost propelling the device, and I don't see how it's possible to make up for it, even if it formed a perfect vortex in the manifold.
Maybe I'm over analyzing again...

i didnt think it spun, i thought it just sat there, and the fins made the air spin as it when past it
