4g37 to 4g67 engine swap

I know this topic is way overdone, but i've checked this forum twice over for an answer and haven't found a clear cut one, so sorry for asking. There is alot of info on 420a engines and such but no mentions of 4g37's.

I have a 1991 Plymouth Laser with a 1.8l sohc non turbo engine(4g37)
I was just wondering if i could just drop in a JDM 4g63 turbo engine for relatively cheap? I really don't have the money to buy an already turbo'd car, so for less than 2 grand would i be able to do this?
Plus modding this car is not an option because it has 140k miles on it, so it really does need a new engine soon.

EDIT: Woops, thank you for the reply, but I don't know why I said 4g67, i meant 4g63. This one in particular.
Also, would those parts be all i need for a complete engine swap, and would everything fit?
 
You wouldn't want to do that if you are looking for extreme power. From first hand experience i can tell you that this is not really worth it. I have the jdm 4g67 which was a replacement for my 4g63 while it is in the process of a rebuild. it is slow but not extremly slow, you would be able to beat sohc civics and have a challenge with a non vtec 2g integra. Also wut 4g67 you know of that comes turbo?
 
The 4G37 Exchange with the 4G63 is quite possible. The only differences you would see majorly is ECM [lots more sensors, and plus ignition system is different], Wiring Harness [Coil pack, Crank/Cam Sensor], and your top motor mount [ it isn't long enough to go around the cylinder head, since it is wider]. Your dash would be wrong, since the rev limiter would need to be set at 7 RPM, meaning your guage wouldn't be very affective to that certain point. The other unfortunate part is nothing would be good on your 1.8, which means everything you have for it would have to be changed... even your radiator hoses are different... The flywheel and clutch would have to be changed, but the transmission could be the same, since it isn't different.. only plugs are different on it [I found this out guys, measurements are the key] but like I said, it is a time consuming project, and expensive. I would look toward you spending 2k, atleast, and 3k at the most...
 
Thanks for the response, after hearing all that I don't think i'll be doing i'll be swapping anymore. It just seems like too much work, i figured it would be easier. I would have to get most of the work done through a mechanic and to replace everything plus labor costs is just too expensive for me. I guess i'll just hope this car lasts me for a year before I have enough money to buy a newer turbo dsm.
 
Actually, on second thought I will do the engine swap, it really isn't all that much money. Considering I would only get $800 or so if i sold the car, and it would cost 2 or 3 grand to buy a turbo dsm with god knows how many more miles on it.
I'll see if I can get some buddies of mine to help me with the transplant
Although I wish it were easier, this should be fun.
