Buying an N1

Ok i am going to get the N1 now here is the question the N/A N1 is long and skinny and has the right size inlet but the turbo N1 is fat and shorter and IMO better looking but the inlet is 3 and 1/4 which is way to big i think. would it make a difference if i got the turbo one with 2.25 piping ? im going to get 2.25 in piping from the cat back cause i don't want to lose to much low end, which should i go for? anyone got a pic of their N/A or Turbo N1 i want to see what the N/A one looks like to see if it is stupid looking or not. Thanks alot really appreciate it!!!

get the N/T one (didnt know they made one, for a 2nd gen I assume?). 2.25" is just what you need. 3" and you will lose major power. I was told by apexi that 2.5" piping is good to flow something like 750hp, so 2.25" is more than adequate for 140-200hp...

ok so then 2.25 with the N/A muffler will work then? have you seen the N/A ones they are long and skinny look kinda like it wouldn't fit? anyone with expirience there?

ok it comes in today which means i will have it installed probably after the holiday weekend. quick question what did everyone else use for a resonator i am going to get a cherry bomb for it i think but it is pretty long don't know if it will fill if i follow the stock flow route but i might straighten that out. thanks in advance i'll post some pics up after i get it on!

ok i got the Stuff installed on tuesday and i'm not so sure how happy i am with it first off i don't like the look of the muffler it is a little to small, and second the sound it is kinda quiet which i like but it really doesn't sound that good i was more impressed with the OBX muffler what gives $50 muffler sounds better than $225 muffler. any suggestions maybe it just needs time to wear in but just kinda thinking out loud thanks for listening.

I've got the N/T N1 and I thought it looked pretty nice and clean and maybe it does take some wearing in cuz mine sounds nice

Put your old obx on the new pipes.

thats what i was thinking but im just gonna give it a little more time to wear in to see if it sounds better or not then go from there.
