in the new non turbo parts guide u guys have the hahn stage 1 system listed for $2,495. go to hahns website and it is $200.00 cheaper. $2,295. $2,495 for a stage one non intercooled turbo system is a little much dont ya think? i mean star is like $1,899. even 2295 is expensive for a stage 1 non intercooled turbo kit. am i right or am i wrong?

Well I think they charge shipping too.

Anyway, most guys who buy a kit end up replacing half the #@%#@%#@%#@% anyway haha. Be prepared to spend $1k more. Star is coming out with some new #@%#@%#@%#@% soon. Call up Wyatt @ turbogs.com

I'm still trying to decide whether or not to go with Hahns or Star, money is a big issue right now.

oh yea i hear ya on the money thing, im thinking of star stage one but i dont think star stage one comes with the k&n filter and boost guage and pillar like hahn. in other words i dont think star comes with everything u need unless u buy stage 2 or higher but hahn does.

also if you read the horsepower post that the systems make its a big difference...

But if i had to go with any of them its either going to be a STAR stage 2 or a hahn racecraft stage 2 , but the stage 2 hahn is expensive!

It really isn't THAT expensive.

S16G turbo - at least $700
BIG FMIC and ALL piping - 900
Manifold - $300
Downpipe - $250

Plus all the R&D was done for you. My custom kit will bring me to about $1200 but I'm using a 14B and a 1g SMIC. Also I'm welding all my intercooler piping myself and making the downpipe myself. Someday when I have the money I will build a REAL turbosystem.
