its a fricken' laser

Alrighty i picked myself up a new beater to get around in since my z is getting tucked away in the garage for the winter, its a 93 laser rs. I looked around in the engine bay and couldn't really tell much about the engine, i knwo this car is fwd and i know its nonturbo and i the only thing i saw was that its a 1.8 liter, which seems to be the 8 valve sohc ( 90 horse, woo ) since this is a beater and all and not my only means of getting aorund and i only paid 500 bucks for it, i was looking to do something radical to the little thing. The engine is going to need some work and id love to slap a turbo or something on this, about how much am i going to spend to force some air into this thing, what am I going to need to do it ( i already have a mechanic dont worry ) and can these parts be had at a junk yard..

if you're just using it as a beater car, then why mod it?

My email. These 2.0 guys have probes in there seats that tell them that is the only engine that can go turbo. Some of them dont' have the probe work, but these guys in here, yeah the probe works very well. LoL, Just kidding 2.0 guys
